Expertise in operations
VGA.expert has a wealth of experience in nuclear technology. The owner was involved in this sector for thirty-five years; initially with the manufacture and commissioning of challenging power plant components, later in nuclear power plant operation, where he – for a long time as a member of the plant management team – had significant responsibilities.
He can demonstrate experience particularly in the areas of emergency preparedness, monitoring (nuclear fuels, reactor physics, chemistry, radiation protection and radioactive waste), quality management and management aspects in general. Furthermore, both in terms of international missions to assess the safety of nuclear power plants, but also for planning ahead for decommissioning and in particular the transition from power plant operation to decommissioning operation.
Based on this experience, VGA.expert can support operators of nuclear installations and in particular those of nuclear power plants in the following respects:
Formulation or checking of operating processes.
