The owner of VGA.expert has been able to take on various management positions during three decades: First as group manager “Product support, Service” at Siemens AG, later as the responsible function and department manager in the power plant operation business at Mühleberg nuclear power plant.
Here, in addition to operational responsibility, he also had responsibility for the strategic development of the department and for the power plant.
During his time as group, function, and department manager he was involved in all aspects of the management functions, which required high social competencies in addition to the technical-analytical competencies. As a member of the power plant management, he was able to expand and develop these.
Based on this experience, VGA.expert can support managers with responsibilities at all levels in the organisation:
Advice or reviews regarding organisational development in particular for
- the running or planned nuclear power plant operation,
- post-operation and dismantling.
Advice or review for the creation of a competency matrix for the transition from power production to decommissioning.
Support with the recruitment of employees with special knowledge or competencies especially for
- responsible employees in the area of disposal of radioactive waste, chemistry, radiation protection, nuclear fuel and physics as well as
- managers and employees for planning and execution of decommissioning.
